How to Put Yourself in a Position to Be Heard When Writing Resume

How to Put Yourself in a Position to Be Heard When Writing ResumeWhen writing resume, do you say why you are changing career path? This is a question that most of the job hunters ask when they write resume. So, what is the point in writing resume if you don't say why you are changing career path?If you don't say why you are changing career path, chances are, your resume will not get through the interview process. In this day and age, it is impossible to be honest with your skills and experience. People are more concerned about getting a job rather than knowing their own skills and experiences. But most of the time, we do not know how to put our best foot forward. When you are changing careers, you need to know that it is not always about changing career as many people think it is. There are many other things which you need to consider before, which when you say why you are changing career path, it can help you in a big way. Let us discuss what I mean by these three things.First and fo remost, you need to make sure that you are doing it for yourself first and foremost. Not, because you have to change career to make money. If you really do want to make money, then you should stay in your current position and apply for another job. It is not right that you are changing career for money.Next, when you say why you are changing career, do not say 'because I need more money'. You need to say why you are changing career. For example, you are facing some other problem that has been haunting you and it has caused you some time off from work. Then you can say, 'my present employer is not providing enough support for me in my case.Instead of making it look like you are changing career for money, say why you are changing career. You can say that the job you were working was not the perfect fit for you. Say this and you will create more credibility in the eyes of the employer. These three points can be termed as good news. When you are able to put these points on paper, then yo ur resume will stand out of the crowd.
